Sit back, relax and enjoy a horse-drawn wagon ride 5 miles up the historic Alder Gulch. Along the way you will see numerous mining claims dating back to the 1860's! There is also a good possibility that you will see an abundance of wildlife as well as breathtaking panoramic views. Don't forget your camera!! At the end of the trail you will find an old mining claim and campsite cowboy dinner with "all the fixins." While dinner is being prepared you can meet the horses or relax next to (or play in) the beautiful spring-fed creek. For those who are looking for a little adventure, you can explore the surrounding wilderness. A variety of outdoor games will also be available for your entertainment. After a short period, the dinner will begin with a fresh green salad, followed by locally grown grass fed Montana beef, cowboy beans, biscuit, and a "tator." Finish off the meal with a dutch-oven cobbler straight off the fire. Upon your return down the gulch and into Virginia City, you will be amazed by the picturesque sunset and landscape.
